God also showed us the Sierras again today much clearer than the other day. I kind of felt like it was His valentine to us today. I can't decide which of His creation I like more, the mountains or the ocean. This video does not do it justice.
We had heart shaped waffles for breakfast and a heart shaped pizza for dinner.
We also had salad from the lettuce I started from seed back in November. I have been astonished at how well the lettuce and the flowers have done throughout the winter and I would like to credit it to my compost, but I think it is probably because we have had a fairly sunny winter and not that cold.
Blynn and Rusty have been pretty congested and coughing A LOT the last four days, and when this happens Blynn usually coughs for most of the night. I decided to try what several moms have told me works for them although I thought they were crazy. Lathering up vaporub on the bottom of their feet and put on socks before bed. So far it has worked? Coincidence I'm sure.
