Tractor party

Today, we had Rusty's birthday party with his friend Ayden who is also turning 3 soon. He has been claiming a tractor party for a long time now. It's always fun for me to plan a party if it is a theme I like. For instance, Blynn is wanting a princess or hello kitty party and I am not on board for that.

I searched everywhere for little toy tractors that I could put on top of cupcakes, but I couldn't find any. So I had to improvise with candy, which I think all the kids and some of the adults liked better anyway. I was going to get the full use out of this tractor stamp that I bought just for this party.

Fortunately we have a few tractors around here. So my dad parked 3 of them out on the grass. It looked like a farm show. And then he hooked up another tractor to a trailer and we went on a ride around the farm.

Now, as you can tell from the pictures that the decor and food appear to be the most important part of the party for me because there are hardly any pictures of Rusty, but I just got busy once the party started and forgot to take pictures. I didn't take a picture of the giftbags either and they were really cute.

We had a balloon get loose.

Mostly, I can't believe that Rusty is 3 years old.

He is so much fun to have around but he is also very 3 (which is the new 2)

He is very independent and doing things that I wouldn't expect from most 3 year olds but this guy has to compete with the older kids he's always around.

He never gets something just for himself. He always gets one for Blynn and Luke and Sam too!

So Sweet.

And he's incredibly handsome.
