I've been noticing more and more, now that I have children and we're living in my grandparents house, how much we have been repeating things. One family tradition we have had since I can remember is going to lunch or dinner with my grandma's side of the family. Well, we just did that the other day with most of the same family members in this picture above. We didn't take an adult picture, but here is the offspring. It would have been nice for Uncle Carl and Grandpa to see this legacy.

I also remember one of the best Christmases was when my sister and I woke up on Christmas morning and there was a bicycle in each of our rooms. I was looking through my Grandma's photo albums and found out it was right after I had turned 4.

We happened to buy Blynn a bike this year for Christmas, and she just turned 4. She has been riding a tricycle my cousin got when she was little, over 30 years ago.

She was so excited and loved the pretty princess bike with water bottle. Definitely not a feature on the 1974 bike. She took two laps around the cars and said, " I want to ride my old bike."

My cousin, Kim, riding the exact bike when she received it for Christmas. Now you may be wondering how I am able to bring up all these old pictures. Well, along with living in my grandparent's house and still having my cousin's old bike, I also have not gotten rid of the photo albums that my Grandma meticulously organized. This is just the first layer, this cabinet is two layers deep, organized by month and year. Thank you Grandma for being so organized.

That is sooooooo cool! Now you absolutely are committed to keeping the tradition of maintaining the albums! You are so lucky to have such a great legacy left to you!
