Bb day

One of the problems with a child that misses the school cutoff by two weeks is that they get bored being at home. One of my goals this year is to engage Blynn intellectually. Today and yesterday was 'Bb' day. This is her favorite letter for some reason. We have been practicing and learning the letter as well as doing 'B' activities. Rusty also is learning along with Blynn, because it's not likely I'll do this twice.

We rode bikes and blew bubbles. We wore our boots and played bowling and boxing on the wii. I would really like to take a field trip to a bakery but solely for selfish reasons. I think we'll skip that one as it contradicts another one of my goals this year.

On a different note, in the car this afternoon, we were listening to the song "Oh be careful little eyes what you see", and after a minute we heard Blynn singing "Oh be careful little nose what you smell". This child is full of really wise advice.
