More Girly Skirts

Sew it seams (Oh that's terrible) that all of the women on the Martin side of the family were born in October. So I decided to make all of the girls the same skirt I've made once before and it turns out I'm getting better at it. My favorite part is choosing the fabric combos. Last week I sat down and made these 3 girly skirts which is a pattern from Pink Fig. They are pretty easy to make, so don't be too impressed.I did learn how to do a french seam and a gathering stitch on youtube. So my finish work is much better on these skirts than on the first one.For Blynn's, I decided to take a long sleeve shirt that had a stain on it and cover it up with some of the material. Then I put a button in the center and embroidered a stem on it. I think my next post may be Blynn's poses. She is seriously too much.

These are some blogs I follow that inspire my inner seamstress:

Those turned out so cute Steph. Wish I had myself a girly little girl since but I don't think those would look quite right on me. Great job.
