Todd and I had a much needed vacation just the two of us. I can't remember the last time we did that. I think it was before Rusty was born. We went for one night to
Las Vegas and saw LOVE which is the Cirque
du Soleil's Beatles show. It was incredible and I want to see it again and again. Really, you all must go and see it. Only in Vegas would you be greeted in baggage claim with Lady
Gaga's Poker Face blaring over the speakers and women in their 60's singing along and dancing. Love it! I will say that one night in Vegas was more than enough time for me in that city. I do not like being around crowds and I have determined that Vegas is where smokers go on vacation. Seriously people, do you know it is 2010? It still catches me off guard that other states allow people to smoke indoors.

The second night of our trip was at home. I guess that is called a
staycation. It was weird to be at home without the kids, but also a lot of fun. The last time we did that, it was 2004. I forget how fun it is to just watch movies and tend to nobody but yourself and do whatever you want. Anyway, Todd and I had a great time and I even limited myself to not calling my sister and I didn't talk about the kids, well for the first day at least.

Excuse me, but I know what "business time" means...
Lucky, I love Vegas. Even thou I have never seen the show, I have a pictures of me in that hallway. Vegas baby, Vegas.
