Sorry guys (to the two people who read the blog), life has been very busy lately. Todd and I have been doing a lot of things around the house,
Blynn started school, my bible study started, and soccer started. Anyway, I have not been energetic enough to blog. But I'm catching up now.
So
Blynn officially started school in August. That morning we celebrated with the breakfast of her choice on the "You are Special" plate. Did you have one of these growing up?

This "first day of school picture on the porch" is a tradition and maybe I'll post all of mine in succession sometime because that would be a good laugh for you all.
(but lots of scanning work for my dad as they are slides)

I can relate to the lunch pressure! the thing is you can spend a lot of time making a healthy lunch and the kids are too excited about getting to recess to take more than a couple of bites. I've been putting in some slices of sausage and crackers which seem to be getting eaten. We may need to watch the blood pressure however...those dogs are salty! I've also been into the yogurt drinks instead of a juice box to sneak in some protein. Good luck!
What really bugged me about my Mommy and me Preschool lunch was that all these Moms just had to have all the Trader Joes latest and greatest. I mean come on! I felt the pressure to make my snacks look more healthy and Trader Joey, just because these moms seemed to put on a lunch box fashion show each week. Where as my COOP lunch kids had normal lunches-Cheetos, sandwich, cookies and a juice box. But I will admit when Ruby goes to Lunch Bunch later this week, I will try dress to impress if you know what I mean. E, sausage?
Mags, it's spelled correctly. I'll admit that I had to look it up in the dictionary--I never remember how to spell that word.
