Aren't these kids adorable. This started as a birthday present for Sam and turned into cute outfits for church today.
I took a plain dress from Kmart that cost far less than I could make myself.
Only the bottom red circle has wonder under. I did the rest of the layers without. I personally love raw edges with all the strings and I also like the imperfect circles and the scribbly stitching. I realize this is a style that not everyone loves. Then I took a green ribbon and stitched it on making sure to stop and add in the loop for a leaf.
Then I moved onto these bad boys. I have been wanting to sew for the boys, but really what do you sew for boys. We were at a craft fair and my sister and I saw ties sewn onto shirts. I can do that. So, again, I took some plain shirts from Kmart and with the wonder of wonder under, I cut out these ties and sewed them on.Sam came over to see his present with his Venom costume on which has seen better days and was holding on by a thread, so I asked him to take it off (which is very embarrassing to him for me to see him with his shirt off) and I sewed it up for him. Now he thinks I am the greatest seamstress that ever lived and asked me tonight if I could make a cover for his DS. Brilliant idea, Sam!!

I am so blessed to have a crafty sister like you who can whip these cuties up! Thanks you for being who God made you and that I can reap these many talents you have too!!
Sooooooo cute! You are right, it is hard to think of something crafty to make for boys. The dress is darling too! Love it.
