Blynn's preschool does a Mother's Day tea and it turned out to be one of my favorite days yet. Each child filled out a card with the help of the teacher for their mom, and this is what Blynn said: You are special because:
you love me! My favorite thing about you is:
that she had me as a baby! Thank you for:
Rusty! (Didn't realize I would be needing kleenex for mother's day tea.)

They sang songs for us and did a reenactment of The Very Hungry Caterpillar which was adorable.

I told Blynn she could pick out my outfit and this morning when she told me she wanted to pick a dress, I had to inform her that mommy did not shave her legs. Who would have known that of all the things in my closet she was wanting me to wear my one dress. Oops! So she picked out something else, something else that we had just worn this week (twice), but oh well.

My sister and Sam.

Blynn and her teachers.

With one of her classmates.

My sister informed me that I was the only one taking pictures during prayer. And I informed her that God does not require us to have our eyes closed or our cameras off during prayer, only the pharisees do.

this was such a fun day. Great idea to take pictures with her teachers, I didn't think of that!
